Is this a most hilarious comedy? No way. But the scenes where the students give feedback to each other is oh-so-true, having lived through my own version of that with other documentary students in grad school.
I am reminded that one of the most liberating days for me in grad school was when one of my professors advised me to respectfully listen to but pay no heed to the feedback from my classmates, when they unanimously told me they "didn't understand" what I was trying to do. My classmates are great, but preach on, preacher!
